Brand new DRUM SHOP opens for business
posted on 11th Oct 2007
Playsomething take great pride in launching a brand new Drum store two doors down from their impressive Musical Instrument Showroom in Baldock Street Ware Hertfordhire. Since opening the doors in November 2005 Playsomething have gone from strength to strength as both a retailer and with their Music School, the Academy.
The achievements have been rewarded with being recognised as a Yamaha Keynote Centre, a Martin Heritage Centre, Zildjian and Pro Mark and Evans Super Centres.
The Academy now teaches around 500 pupils each week. Playsomething have shown outstanding commitment to the local town council with support for Rock in the Priory and work within the town festival. They were recently awarded the “Geoff Williamson” Trophy by the festival committee for services to Ware Festival and best commercial entry into the Ware Parade.
Playsomething have just pleadged a 3year sponsorship deal to Ware Football Club with the hope of linking sport with music. The new drum shop will be host to all major Brands including Yamaha, Tama, Vic Firth Zildjian, Mapex, Sonor, Ludwig and many more.
Director Jon Bliss Explains, “ We already have many drum customers and pupils that we felt needed a better service and when the opportunity to open a drum store presented itself we grabbed the chance.”
The extra store means Playsomething can increase the range of musical instruments throughout both stores and The Academy, continuing its aim to be Hertfordshire’s leading Musical Instrument Store and Music Tuition Provider. For more information on products or lessons please call 01920 460646.
